Review, identify, select, and forward applicants in support of the company's hiring needs; throughout the selection process, convey to candidates aspects of the work environment and company culture.

  • Following established recruiting processes, conduct resume/credential reviews and screening of candidates as appropriate to position requirements

  • Understand the business needs in order to implement and administer recruiting processes

  • Provide information regarding application status and other applicable company/position information

  • Assist partners on the sourcing recruitment teams ensuring all pertinent information regarding site specific recruiting processes and service level agreements is employed when sourcing hard-to-fill positions

  • Update and maintain candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

  • Assist Human Resources and hiring managers in the creation of detailed and accurate interview tools

  • Support company-sponsored recruiting events such as local/national career fairs, special events or functions

  • Partner with internal University and Career Development teams on strategies relating to campus engagement and strategic hiring initiatives

  • Possess, maintain and apply knowledge and understanding of and follows all EEO and Affirmative Action policies as determined by the company as well as state/federal agencies

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GEDandfour (4) years of Recruiting/Human Resources-related experience,OR

  • Bachelor's degreeandone (1) year of Recruiting/Human Resources-related experience

  • Understanding of EEO and Affirmative Action policies

  • Basic understanding of employment law as it relates to hiring practices

  • Knowledge of typical recruiting processes and procedures


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related

  • One-plus (1 ) years of experience efficiently managing full-cycle college recruiting activities

  • Experience coordinating and managing campus recruiting activities (career fair, information sessions, etc.) including interacting with University Career Services, department professors and staff and student professional organizations

  • Experience working in a Human Resources function

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage conversations and foster relationships with internal and external customers at all levels

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

  • Experience compiling information, creating presentations and presenting data/information at all levels

  • Intermediate-level proficiency with Taleo, MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking and organization abilities

  • Ability to travel in the spring and fall up to 50% of the time


  • Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English

  • Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards

  • Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment

  • Position is in busy, non-smoking office located in downtown Phoenix, AZ

  • Location requires mobility in an office environment; each floor is accessible by elevator

  • Occasionally work will be performed in a mine, outdoor or manufacturing plant setting, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, explosives, fumes or airborne particles

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear and see

  • Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to ten (10) pounds

  • Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required
